The SevenPillars framework was created by Ndidi through her post-doctorate in sustainability, her years of experience in corporate and government consultancy and her deep understanding of investing in innovative and sustainable entrepreneurship.
With Benedikt, and his vast spanning career in finance, investing and innovative tech within the finance sector around the world, and Ndidi, founder of Growing Business Foundation (GBF) and former Chief of Sustainability and Governance at Dangote where the SevenPillars methodology was successfully implemented to create their first accredited sustainability report at the end of 2019, AfriKairos was created to serve as a bridge between entrepreneurship and sustainability, innovation and inclusivity, and mentoring and investment.
Adapted from the FHL methodology, founded in the 1990s by Prof. em. Dr. Johannes Hoffmann of the Goethe University Frankfurt and Prof. Dr. Gerhard Scherhorn of the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim, to facilitate African economies and value systems, SevenPillars has access to decades worth of research and knowledge and is uniquely positioned to work closely and efficiently with African companies seeking to create a culture of sustainability and corporate resilience.
The founders of AfriKairos combined their vast experience of building and leading companies, financing, funding, and capitalising of SMEs, Angel- and Seed investing in Start- Ups with sustainable and tech background in emerging markets to create a robust network of services and strategies to revitalise corporations and holistically integrate sustainability into the core of corporate management.
SevenPillars is currently hosted at Weltethos Institute of Tubingen University Research Group, whose co-chairs, Bene and Ndidi, are also AfriKairos’ co-founders.

The SevenPillars Methodology was successfully implemented in Dangote, Africa’s largest Conglomerate, as The Dangote Way, while Ndidi served as Chief of Sustainability and Governance, gaining wide recognition and acclaim for enabling the first accredited sustainability report on Dangote at the end of 2019.
